Leadership in Medicine

With the changing landscape in Family Medicine, it’s important that physicians be effective leaders of multidisciplinary teams, adaptable and resilient. Accordingly, one goal of our program is to facilitate the development of each resident toward his or her leadership potential.

A framework we have found useful is Conscious Leadership, the framework adopted for promoting a healthy culture at GHS. The degree of emphasis on leadership training increases as residents advance in the program.
