Originally from Upstate South Carolina, Dr. Patterson earned his medical degree from the University Of South Carolina School Of Medicine and completed his residency at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He is board certified in Family Medicine. His interests include adult medicine, obstetrics, and community outreach and quality improvement.
Born in Hawaii but Texas raised, Dr. Phillips now considers upstate South Carolina home. He earned his medical degree from the University Of North Texas Health Science Center, completed his internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX, and completed residency at the Waco Family Medicine Residency Program. He is board certified in both Family Medicine along with Hospice and Palliative Care. His professional interests include academics, hospice care, rural medicine, and international medical missions. His passions include hunting, and camping along with spending time with his boys, dogs and chickens.
Dr. Bhansaly was born in Baltimore, MD and has been in Greenville, SC since 2010. She earned her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Spartanburg Regional Family Medicine Program. Her professional interests include academics, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Treatment, and health care informatics.
Dr. Garand earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency at Greenville Health System. He is board certified in both Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. His interests include geriatrics, practice management and outpatient medicine.
Dr. Gervacio earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University in the Philippines and completed her residency at Greenville Health System. She is board certified in Family Medicine. Her interests include lifestyle medicine, wellness and children’s health.
Dr. Kunda earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completer her residency in family medicine at Spartanburg Medical Center. She is board certified in Family Medicine. Her interests include inpatient medicine, medical missions- international and local. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and her four-legged children.
Yesenia Ruiz was born in Cali, Colombia, and moved to the United States in 1999. She enjoys traveling and learning new languages. Her favorite part of working with residents is seeing their growth throughout the three years of training.
Lori Frost is from Duncan, S.C. She has worked as a nurse in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics and Labor & Delivery. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her interests include clinical leadership and education.
Duke Spinelli has lived in the Upstate for a number of years and has been involved in practice management for over 15 years. He enjoys riding his motorcycle and officiating bicycle races. His interests include practice development, patient-centered medical homes and collaborative care.
