Our fellowship program is accredited by the American Board of Graduate Medical Education and meets the requirements established by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  We recruit one fellow each year.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in or have attended an ACGME-accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.

The selection process is based on personal interviews with department faculty, letters of recommendation, and USMLE scores.  It will also include an assessment of the applicant’s honors and achievements, as well as clinical and research interests.

In 2020, we will be participating in the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine’s single notification date.  The steps in the process are as follows:

  • Submit an application for the fellowship through ERAS by May 1
  • The first round of interview invitations will be extended on May 18.
  • Applicants are expected to accept or decline interview invitations by May 25. Additional interview invitations may be extended in a second round after May 25.
  • Interview dates for 2020 are Monday August 10, Tuesday August 25 and Monday August 31.
  • Rank list due to NRMP September 30, 2020
  • Match day is October 14, 2020
  • The first day of fellowship training in July 1, 2021
