I’m Ahsheema Bacchus, originally from Guyana, South America but moved to Florida many years ago. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Molecular and Microbiology. Then I attended Ross University School of Medicine on the beautiful island of Dominica. I chose Family Medicine because I wanted to provide compassionate and patient centered care. Being a Family Medicine physician allows for a trusting relationship with patients, which leads to better comprehensive care for a healthier tomorrow. I chose GHS because I was impressed with its above and beyond residency goals and continuous desire to improve. The faculty, residents, and staff are warm and welcoming. I wanted to stay in the South and Greenville provides the best of city life without the hassles. I enjoy the majestic mountains of Greenville. Outside of medicine, I enjoy farmer’s markets, festivals and cooking.
