Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m from Albertville, AL, a small town in northeast Alabama. I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for both undergrad and medical school (Go Blazers!). In my free time, I enjoy playing with my cat, knitting, baking, drinking coffee, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
I chose family medicine because I want to provide compassionate, patient-centered care, taking an interest in not only the medical needs of my patients, but also their emotional and spiritual needs. I love that as family medicine physicians, we are able to form long-term relationships with our patients and support them in every walk of life. I chose Prisma Health – Greenville because of both the incredible people, and the great academic learning environment. My faculty and fellow residents have truly become family to me, and I enjoy learning alongside them and serving the people of our community.
