Amanda G. Hartke, M.D. Ph.D.

Dr. Hartke received her medical degree and her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. After residency, she joined the faculty at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas where she received the Clinical Teaching Award for Core Clerkship Teachers from UT Southwestern. In 2014, Dr. Hartke returned home to South Carolina and joined the GHS faculty as a pediatric hospitalist. She has served as the M4 Pediatric Director for the USC School of Medicine Greenville since 2014 and is the faculty co-advisor for the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Hartke’s academic interests include undergraduate and graduate medical education as well as pediatric hospital medicine.
