Dr. Roth grew up in Toledo, Ohio and Augusta, Georgia. He attended Georgia Tech for his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering followed by Northwestern University for medical school. He attended Northwestern’s four-year emergency medicine residency and served as chief resident during his final year.

In July 2014, Dr. Roth joined the emergency medicine faculty at Prisma Health. He looks forward to many years of involvement in both medical student and residency education in addition to caring for patients through clinical practice.

He is married to Dr. Prerana Roth, an infectious disease specialist who practices in Greenville as well. They have two daughters Jyoti and Asha, who bring them an incredible amount of joy and love.
