My name is Bijal (Bee-Jal) Shah. I was born and raised in Nakuru, Kenya. I lived there for fourteen years, before moving to the United States with my family. We lived in NJ briefly but moved to Atlanta in 2003. I went to Georgia Tech for my undergraduate education, where I studied Biochemistry. I attended Mercer University in Savannah, Georgia for medical school. After graduating, I entered the Prisma Health Family Medicine residency. When I am not working, I enjoy going to trivia, yoga, swimming and kayaking on Lake Jocassee, cooking, listening to music, and traveling.
