My name is Brynlynn Pitt. I am from Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada, a town just outside of Toronto. I earned my undergraduate degree in physiology from the University of Ottawa and my master’s degree in kinesiology from Brock University. For medical school, I attended St. George’s University School of Medicine, which afforded me the opportunity to travel while completing my studies: from England, to Grenada in the Caribbean, to Detroit, and back home to Canada. I was privileged through these travel experiences to gain exposure to a diversity of cultures, a variety of health care systems and settings, and different approaches to patient care.
I chose GHS Family Medicine because of the warmth of the staff, faculty, and residents; the emphasis on lifestyle and exercise as the cornerstones of high quality preventive medicine; and the vibrant, active city of Greenville itself. Outside of medicine, I am a runner and avid sports enthusiast, having competed in track & field for several club and collegiate teams. I also enjoy reading comics and listening to jazz.
