Christina Gutta, MD

Dr. Gutta earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and then graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. She completed her family medicine residency at Bayfront Health in sunny St. Petersburg, FL where she served as chief resident. During her PCSM fellowship at Prisma Health, she served as team physician for Laurens High School, North Greenville University, Converse College, and USA Karate. After completing PCSM fellowship at Prisma Health, she joined Prisma Health full time.

She is board certified in Family Medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Primary Care Sports Medicine. She splits her time between urgent care clinics through the emergency medicine department and primary care sports medicine clinic. She serves as teaching faculty for both sports medicine and emergency medicine with special interest in point of care ultrasound and concussion research. She continues to serve as the team physician for Laurens High School. Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking, playing sand volleyball, watching college football. She enjoys hanging out with her husband, son and dog, Buddy.
