Dr. Dewald is originally from Smyrna, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia in Athens for her undergraduate education. She then attended the Medical College of Georgia where she was a member of both the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and Alpha Upsilon Phi Service and Leadership Honor Society. She was also Merck Manual Award and the Woo Memorial Award – for academic achievement and service. Liz was known in our program for her extensive knowledge base, her strong work ethic, and for her infectious smile and sense of humor. Liz Dewald currently works as both a pediatric hospitalist at Anderson Medical Center and an adult medicine hospitalist at Greenville Memorial Hospital. At Anderson Medical Center, Liz will be working along side other med-peds graduates, Teresa Williams and Sen Ravindran.
