I am from Oklahoma, but with a father in the military I grew up all over the southern US and abroad. I attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where I played collegiate golf for four years while completing my major in Chemistry. After completing my emergency medicine residency at East Carolina University in 2014, I moved to Savannah, GA where I worked in community emergency medicine for several years. In order to further pursue academic emergency medicine and aid in the education of medical students and residents, I joined the Prisma Health in January 2018. Medical interests include wilderness medicine and disaster medicine.

My wife and I welcomed our first son in 2017. We look forward to raising him in such a friendly upstate environment. My long term passion outside of medicine is golf. I also enjoy traveling, live music, good food, and spending time with friends and family. Since moving to Greenville, we have enjoyed outdoor activities including hiking and kayaking.
