Hi, I’m Jason. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I graduated from the University of Toronto, St. George in Canada and later attended Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. I’m interested primarily in preventative medicine, lifestyle as well as population medicine. I chose family medicine because I want to shift the current focus on specialized practice to preventing long-term sequelae of otherwise unmanaged chronic disease. Outside of medicine, I try (my best) to include exercise and cooking healthy meals into my schedule. The FM faculty at GHS are extremely dedicated to teaching, and there is plenty of support here, which helped push me to apply. And, Greenville is a quickly expanding city, with a small town vibe and plenty of things to do downtown, which is great. My other interests include basketball, game of thrones, music, yoga and reading when I can.
