Dr. Coldebella was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She majored in physics at North Park University in Chicago and was the point guard and captain of the women’s basketball team. She attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria where she met her husband, Angelo. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where she served as resident education chief and was an active member of the program’s wellness committee. After spending all of her life in the Midwest, she decided on a change of scenery and accepted a position at Prisma Health, very excited to be a part of training the next generation of emergency physicians in the program’s charter year. Her professional interests are curriculum development and wellness, specifically on the topics of burnout, resilience and suicide prevention. She now serves on AAEM’s Wellness Committee and the CORD Mental Health Task Force. She enjoys playing with her two cocker spaniels and traveling with her husband.
