Manisha Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine and she completed her Med-Peds residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania. She then completed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Patel is the leader of the Children’s Hospital Adult Congenital Heart Disease clinical program at GHS. Dr. Patel grew up in Spartanburg, SC and has been excited to come back to the area to work. One of her passions is global outreach, and is she is fluent in Spanish. Most recently, she coordinated a medical mission in September 2010 to Jamaica where she screened 500 children for rheumatic heart disease. She has previously worked in Cuba, Dominican Republic, Botswana, and Bolivia. In her spare time, Dr. Patel also loves exercising and enjoying the many outdoor activities of Greenville with her husband, two young sons and her dogs.
