Hi I’m Paul Ross. I am from Charleston, SC, where I also went to College of Charleston for undergrad. While there I received a degree in Biology and met my wife who is from the upstate. I went on to attend medical school at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Carolinas Campus (VCOM-CC) in Spartanburg, SC. My interests include scuba diving, riding motorcycles and exploring what this great area has to offer. My interests in medicine include underserved care, preventative medicine and being a strong advocate for patients. I feel honored that I will be able to go through my residency training in Greenville. My wife and I love this city and are happy that we get to spend the next few years here making this place our home!
I chose Prisma Health Upstate Family Medicine for my residency training because of the people that make up the program. At this academic center they are not only focused on furthering residents learning experience but have established a strong bond between faculty and residents. I have no doubt in my mind that through the training and support provided by the people of this program I will become a better physician.
