Senthuran Ravindran, MD

Dr. Ravindran received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his medical training at East Carolina University Brody School of medicine.  Dr. Ravindran was awarded the Lily and GD Jackson Award which is presented to the most outstanding interns in the health system in his first year. He was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society Resident Chapter by the USC School of Medicine class of 2013 and was also twice named Resident of the Year by the USC School of Medicine classes of 2015 and 2016. Dr. Ravindran was our Med-Peds Chief Resident in 2015 and is now working as a Med-Peds hospitalist at Greer Memorial, Greenville Memorial Hospital and Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. He attends on both the wards teaching services, Medical Teaching Service (MTS) and Pediatric Hospital Service (PHS). He also became the program’s first Associate Program Director for the Med-Peds residency program in 2015.  His academic interests are hospital medicine, diversity/inclusion/equity promotion, mentorship and medical student and resident education.
