Dr. Lance is a graduate of University of Arkansas Medical School. After finishing her residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, Ohio she came to the Greenville area to begin her career with Carolina Emergency Medicine. Subsequently formed Upstate Emergency Physicians with three other physicians in the area and worked at a local community hospital for 11 years. Needing a change she returned to Carolina Emergency Medicine in 2010 and she has been at Prisma Health since then.

Dr. Lance has a special interest in the critical care aspect of EM along with student and resident education. She currently is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville Campus and serves on the ED Peer Review Committee.

When not at work she can usually be found at the soccer field with her daughter or watching her son play football. She is also a volunteer at Southside Christian School which they attend.
