I’m from Toronto, Ontario and attended the University of Toronto for undergrad. I attended the University of Limerick for medical school. Outside of medicine, I enjoy Powerlifting, watching and playing hockey (Go Leafs Go!), spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching movies.
I chose Family Medicine because of the long-lasting relationships we can develop. I truly enjoy the diversity of the patients and the holistic approach to patient care that family medicine offers. Moreover, the notion that a family physician can empower patients to take control of their health at the earliest opportunity influenced my decision to pursue family medicine. I chose this program because I was impressed with the program’s excellent academic reputation, the camaraderie amongst the faculty, residents, and staff, and the numerous opportunities to participate in sports medicine, lifestyle medicine, and research. Right from my first contact with the program, I felt welcomed and at home. Oh, and CFM’s proximity to the Life Center was an added bonus.
What you like about Greenville: I love how friendly everyone is in Greenville and how there’s always something to do and new places to explore. Coming from a big city like Toronto, I really enjoy how Greenville strikes the ideal balance of small-town-meets-big-city.
